Electron Beam Texturing is a method at which structures are produced in surfaces, for example of rollers, by means of electron beam. Metal sheets rolled with rollers treated in such a way then show certain qualities, such as a better wetting ability. The electron beam hits the material to be treated in a vacuum chamber.

Due to the addition of energy small craters will be produced in the surface.
