At this page we would like briefly to make you familiar with the substantial control elements at the front panels of typical FuG - power suplies.  In order to get an explanation, move the mouse- pointer across the control elements of the front panel.  (Works with Internet Explorer.)

The picture shows the front panel design of one of our high-voltage power supplies of the HCP- series. In principle this design corresponds also to our medium- voltage power supplies MCP. Since the latter ones are equipped with floating output, the polarity- switch there  is not available.
In principle this design corresponds as well  to table- top- units of other series (built from 2006). Dependent on the output voltage, the output- connectors may be of different design.
In order to get an explanation, move the mouse- pointer across the control elements of the front panel.  (Works with Internet Explorer.)

The picture shows the front panel design of one of our high-voltage power supplies of the HCN- series. In principle this design corresponds as well  to table- top- units of other series (built till 2005). Dependent on the output voltage, the output- connectors may be of different design. The polarity- switch is available optionally only for high voltage units. Table- top- units of full 19''- width are equipped with two digital instruments - each for voltage and current, instead of the one with the changing- switch.
In order to get an explanation, move the mouse- pointer across the control elements of the front panel.  (Works with Internet Explorer.)

Digital meter for output voltage and current
(3 1/2 digits, changeable between voltage and current)
(If required 4 1/2 digits available.) Changeover switch ''voltage/current'' for meter.
This switch doesn't exist in units with two separate meters.
(from 700W up) Mechanical polarity-switch (optional)
CAUTION: To be operated only with output voltage=''0'' Ten-turn-potentiometer

If required additional ten-turn-potentiometers
for coarse/fine- adjustment can be equipped (possibly with bigger case) Ten-turn-potentiometer

digital or analog interface (optional) Mains switch Grounding connector - galvanically connected with the earthing wire of the mains and with the case.
At the rear side another grounding pin with exceptionally low resistance is located. Earhty output connector ''0V''.
The galvanical connection of this connector with earth may be removed if necessary.
In this case the earthy output may be operated floating up to 300V against the case. High voltage output connector

The picture shows the front panel design of one of our cabinet- designed high-power units with three- phase mains connection. The shown design in priciple corresponds to cabinet- units of all series.  Especially with power- supplies of high output power the design may vary depending on the kind of application and on customers demands, due to additional or different control elements.
In order to get an explanation, move the mouse- pointer across the control elements of the front panel.  (Works with Internet Explorer.)
