To operate a FuG- high voltage power supply, it is usually necessary to mount the output cable. 
(Except for customer specific power supplies or power supplies with output voltage >65kV - latter ones are equipped with 3m output cable ready mounted with the appropriate connector.)

A overview which connectors and cables are fitting to which FuG power supply and also more information about cables and connectors you'll find in chapter Accessories.

Here some notes concerning the mounting of the high voltage cables with it's connectors:

To 10kV    To 20kV     To 20kV (old HCN and HCE)      To 35kV    Higher voltage

For output voltage up to 10kV:
SHV- cable- jack with cable RG 58:

This mounting instruction is valid analogous to other plugs of the same design, e.g. HVS 65. The difference is only in the length of the plug and diameter of the cable.

To HVS  65 applies "L" =  239 mm, Full length of plug "S" = 289 mm
